WCSX's Jim O'Brien: 'My Time With the Station Has Come To An End'

Jim O'Brien has ended his 24-year run at rock station WCSX-FM  which began in 2002.

"After an incredible run at WCSX, my time with the station has come to an end," he wrote on Instagram on Thursday. "I'm grateful to the listeners, teammates, clients, veterans, and the Detroit community who allowed me to be part of their mornings for so many years. Thank you for the support, the laughs, the memories and welcoming me into your lives every  days.

"But I'm not going anywhere. I'll still be part of Detroit as track announcer for the Detroit Grand Prix and continuing my work with DRAW on the board of directors. I'm excited for what's next and I look forward to staying connected to all of you."
